The Council has Financial Regulations which govern how it manages its finances and contracts including:

• Salaries
• Orders for Goods and Services
• Insurance

Financial Regulations and the Financial Risk Assessment are updated in January every year along with all other policies.

The Precept is that element of your Council Tax which is paid to Rossington Parish Council.

Every year, the Parish Council draws up a budget and calculates how much money it needs for the next Financial Year. This is usually finalised at the January Full Council meeting and a precept demand submitted to Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.
